I have an opinion about most of the "nutrition" bars out on the market... they are full of a bunch of stuff we don't need, like hydrolyzed soy isolate, barley malt extract, modified food starch, and corn syrup. Go ahead -- I dare you to read the label of whatever bar you have in your purse, your drawer at work or your car!
When I read a label these days, I see if I can picture the ingredient in my head. If I can't, it probably means that it isn't natural or whole. I'm not saying I don't ever eat weird ingredients but I try to be conscious of it!
Which brings me to LaraBars. They taste REALLY good. They are the right amount of sweet and it's amazing that there are only two ingredients, cashews and dates, in the Cashew Cookie Flavor. There are no more than 8 ingredients in any flavor!
